Comfy and Clean

I stayed in the First Nations House Chief Bullhead room, and it was impressively clean. The king bed offered really good comfort, though the pillows weren't as snug as I would have liked. I ended up using my sweater instead, but the spacious shower and overall cleanliness made my stay enjoyable! A small bedside table on each side would have been a great touch to enhance the experience further.

Delicious Cheesecake!

During my stay, I took advantage of the Green program and was treated to the Lime Key Cheesecake in the dining room. Let me tell you, it was simply the best cheesecake I've ever had! The combination of ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate, and fresh fruit made it a must-try. The dining experience at Vimy’s Bar and Grill was also quite good, making me eager to return for more.

Relaxing Pool Area

While visiting in July, I found the pool area satisfactory, although I imagine it would be even more appreciated during fall or winter. Despite the lovely outdoor lake scenery, I enjoyed a few leisurely laps in the pool, which was well-maintained. It added that perfect touch to my fitness routine while relaxing at the lodge.

Convenient Parking

One aspect I appreciated during my stay was the parking convenience. There were ample parking spots right outside my room, making it easy to unload my luggage and head out for adventures. It’s great not to have to hunt for a parking space after a long day exploring.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was great, right across from a spray park and close to everything in Waterton, the cleanliness and upkeep left much to be desired. The rooms were spacious but not well-maintained, and I faced issues with the air conditioning and the TV during my stay. I was also disappointed with the service, especially given some of the problems that arose.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the central location made it easy to explore everything Waterton has to offer, the room I stayed in was a major letdown. It felt like it hadn't been updated in ages, and unfortunately, it wasn't very clean upon arrival. The dining experience was fantastic, especially with the dessert they served. Overall, it was comfortable, but I think the hotel really needs to step up its game for the price they're charging.
